Sawgrass is a church where people focus on becoming more like Jesus, realizing that this is a lifelong journey involving everything that happens in our lives. Each member of Sawgrass Community Church is encouraged and trained in how to have a vibrant, ongoing, personal relationship with Jesus, utilizing prayer without ceasing, His word written on our hearts, and the ongoing practice of His presence.

Spiritual growth often happens best in fellowship with others. This is why we maintain an active list of small groups, encourage one-on-one discipleship, and have several opportunities for men, women, youth, and children to come together. There is no higher calling than to become more like Christ
